The ACR 2018 Annual Conference - October 3-6 - Registration is Open

Welcome to the 18th Annual Association for Conflict Resolution Conference!  This year we will celebrate each other from the City of Bridges: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  I look forward to exploring our theme of ACR Next Gen:  Boldly Leading Conflict Engagement into the Future.  We will honor our past as we look ahead to what we want our field to look like in the future; to be the change we envision.  The annual conference brings together the diversity of our Association as we stretch ourselves to share, learn and explore with each other what conflict engagement means.  This year we will continue the tradition of high quality workshops and sessions, award presentations to honor our peers, an interactive General Session on Friday afternoon as well as our annual Raffle, and a group adventure in our host city.  We are excited to announce our keynote speaker from the Global Negotiation Initiative, Joshua Weiss, PhD.

Unable to attend in person and don’t want to be left behind?  You can register for the virtual track and not miss out!   Our program will offer something for everyone, from novices to advanced practitioners. There are full and half-day intensive workshops to sharpen your skills, mini-plenary sessions on overarching issues in the field, and over 75 workshops on a wide variety of timely topics.

The 3 ½ days together are sure to generate lively discussion and meaningful exploration on the challenges we face.  Be sure to sign up for the Sunset Dinner Cruise on Friday.   I look forward to celebrating with you.  To learn more about the conference and to register, click here

See you in Pittsburgh!
